Dozens of projects are either under construction or in the works throughout the Coachella Valley, with city councils, planning commissions, and key stakeholders pitching in to push nearly 4,500 units of affordable housing forward.

The county, Lift to Rise and its partners met with President Biden’s Senior Economic Advisor, Gene Sperling. They highlighted their partnership, and Lift to Rise’s collaborative model that’s expanding affordable housing for the region.

Riverside County residents are still able to apply through the online application before July 29. Rental assistance funds, which are provided by various federal and local sources, will still be disbursed through the end of 2022, while funding lasts.
