The Housing Collaborative Action Network (CAN) comprises more than 70 cross-sector partners who come together regularly to advance strategies for increasing affordable housing in the Coachella Valley. Anchored by Lift to Rise and Riverside County, the Housing CAN includes elected officials and staff from all nice Coachella Valley cities and Riverside County, affordable housing developers, non-profits, residents, funders and financial institutions.
The Housing CAN is built on our collective belief that change takes place when diverse community voices and leadership are central to strategic planning, implementation, and evaluation.
CAN members meet monthly to develop actions and assess progress towards attaining the goals detailed in the Action Plan. Every two years, members come together over multiple days to evaluate the Action Plan and update strategies that will guide the group over the next two years.
